9-11th January Pantomime - " Pandemonium in Pantoland" (DVDs now available)

20th April - Presentation Dinner 7.00-11.00pm
£5,000 given away to local Good Causes - Guides, Cubs,
Clubs and projects for the elderly, the sick and the disabled

3rd May - Sponsored Bluebell Walk
Raise money for your own special charity or MHBS
- certificates for all, sweets for children, biscuits for dogs

July 16th, 10.30 - 12.30 and 2.00 - 4.00 - Open Garden
In aid of Friends of the Eastbourne Hospitals.
Mr and Mrs W Martin (Jenny and Bill), Bemzells Cottage, Bemzells Lane, Cowbeech
Morning coffee and afternoon tea served - Open whatever the weather!
Entrance by donation which can be gift aided.

19th - 20th July - "Cowbeech Festival of Friends"
Gates Open 12 noon on 19th July and the festivities will continue until Midday on 20th
First band starts at 14:30 and entertainment includes
Rockin Cajun Dawgs
African Drums
Boogie Nights
Electric Hoedown
Oeufs
Can Can dancers
Big Kahuna

Some bands will play twice in the evening

Richard The Story Teller will gather audiences for stories in the garden

Hog roast from 16:00 onward After midnight there will be unamplified accoustic guitar and singing
Cost is £15 per person - persons under 16 years old - FREE ! This Event is in aid of Demelza, to provide Hospice Care For Children

3rd August - "Dig for Victory" Flower Show and Fete with a 40s Theme
Tug-of-war competition, display of army vehicles, sideshows, tea
tent, bar and BBQ, Brass Band, awards ceremony, auction etc.
Fantastic fun for all ages.

40s Sing Song and Special Dinner in pub in the evening
Also this year the draw will be made for the Summer Raffle

30th October - Bonfire and Fireworks
Children's Fancy Dress Competition, Bar and BBQ, Dutch Organ
A real family friendly bonfire and a great spectacle
Afterwards the pub is open until late

19th December - Grand Christmas Raffle and Social Evening in the Harriers
